Definitions
‘Student’: Any individual or entity who accesses or uses our Services.
‘Services’: Includes all educational courses, resources, live sessions, mentoring, Q&A sessions,
‘Courses’: All learning materials provided as part of the Services, by the instructors to students, including lessons, manuals, course materials, videos, documents, DJ equipment, music production tools, and other educational resources.
Enrolment and Payment
All course fees must be paid in full before the start of the course.
Payments can be made via our online payment gateway using either PayPal, bank transfer, credit/debit card, or other accepted payment methods.
Enrolment is confirmed upon receipt of payment.
Course Scheduling
Lessons are available 5 days a week from 10 AM to 10 PM.
Students can schedule lessons based on availability.
Rescheduling or cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Failure to do so may result in the loss of the lesson without a refund.
All courses must be completed within six-month timeframe of invoice date unless otherwise agreed by London DJ Academy
Attendance and Punctuality
Students are expected to arrive on time for lessons. Late arrivals may result in a shortened session.
Missed lessons without prior notice will not be rescheduled or refunded.
Refund Policy
Refunds are only available for cancellations made 7 days prior to the course start date and will incur a 20% cancellation fee.
No refunds will be provided once the course has begun, except in cases of extenuating circumstances, subject to the academy’s discretion.
Rescheduling may be subject to availability and notice requirements.
Use of Equipment
Students will have access to industry-standard DJ equipment during their lessons.
Each student is responsible for ensuring that no equipment or property is damaged, lost or stolen as a direct or indirect result of their own action or failure to act appropriately. Each student is also responsible for the actions and omissions of any guests they invite on to the premises.
In the event that any London DJ Academy equipment or property is damaged, lost or stolen as a direct or indirect result of negligent action or failure to act appropriately by any student or guest, the student agrees to pay all reasonable costs in full (including without limitation for replacement or reparation).
Certification
Certification will only be awarded upon successful completion of all course requirements.
The academy reserves the right to withhold certification if course requirements are not met.
Health and Safety
Students are responsible for their personal belongings during lessons.
The academy is not liable for any injuries or damages incurred during lessons.
Code of Conduct
Students are expected to behave respectfully towards instructors, staff, and other students.
The academy reserves the right to expel students for inappropriate behaviour without a refund.
Liability
London DJ Academy’s liability to you hereunder shall be limited to the total amount you have actually paid to London DJ Academy for the applicable course. London DJ Academy shall under no circumstances be liable to you, whether in contract, tort or otherwise, for any indirect or consequential loss arising hereunder or in connection with the courses provided by London DJ Academy. Nothing in this Agreement shall operate to limit or exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
London DJ Academy:
1. accepts no responsibility for loss, damage or theft of personal belongings.
2. reserves the right to alter advertised instructors at any time.
3. reserves the right to cancel courses at any time and/or to transfer bookings to rescheduled dates (though Students unable to attend rescheduled dates may be entitled to some refund or other credit in some cases).
Changes to Courses
The academy reserves the right to modify course content, instructors, prices, or schedules, if necessary, with reasonable notice given to students.
Intellectual Property
Educational materials provided are the property of the academy and not be
redistributed.
Medical Conditions
Students with medical conditions or allergies must inform the academy.
Disability Disclosure
Students with disabilities must disclose any impact on meeting course requirements or safety standards.
Media Consent and Release Clause
By enrolling in and purchasing classes at London DJ Academy, you acknowledge and agree that we may, at our discretion, capture photographic and video material during classes and school events. These materials may feature images, likeness, or performances of our students, and by agreeing to these terms, you grant London DJ Academy the irrevocable right to use such materials for promotional, educational, or any other lawful purpose in our digital and social media platforms. You understand that these materials will be used in a public context and hereby waive any rights to compensation or ownership of these materials. This consent is given freely and without expectation of compensation now or in the future.
Law And Jurisdiction
This Agreement shall be governed by English law and the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any claim, dispute or difference which may arise out of this Agreement.
Force Majeure
London DJ Academy shall not be liable hereunder as a result of any delay or failure to perform its obligations as a result of a Force Majeure Event.
Privacy and Data
Personal information collected during enrolment will be kept confidential and used solely for communication and course management purposes.
